Free webinar "Voluntary hoof lifts"

7 july 19.00 CET (10.00 PCT)

Do you want a horse that voluntarily lifts and holds up its hooves when the farrier comes? And then stand still and content without pulling the leg? It is neither fun for the horse nor the people who have to handle it if the horse is afraid and unwilling to lift its hooves and it can easily become dangerous.

In this webinar on hoof care with positive reinforcement, we give you an understanding of how we work with the horses so that they really want to get their hooves done. You will learn the basics of being able to change your horse's attitude to lifting his legs.

Let's start together

If you are a horse owner who has a horse that does not like to lift its hooves for trimming or shoeing, you already know that trying to hold on to the leg is a common mistake in the old school to get the horse to give up and stand still.

If you dont change how the horse feels about lifting its hooves, the old way will at best lead to the horse accepting to lift its hooves and endure. At worst it will lead to the horse trying to pull itself free by snatching the leg, kicking or not lifting the hoof at all but trying to get away.

That's why we've created a webinar on voluntary hoof lifts. Through training with positive reinforcement you can change how your horse feels about it, we can get a horse that wants to lift its hooves voluntarily and stand still.
